My yard experienced a disaster yesterday, my lawn was watered for two hours and there is still standing water all over the yard.

Yesterday morning my yard was being watered according to the schedule I had set up and everything seemed to be working fine. The schedule I set was to water for 1 hour, just to finish watering my lawn. So I went back inside and started watching my favorite game. After about 45 minutes, I walked to the living room to get ready for a glass of water. Then I noticed that my yard had accumulated so much water that it was even overflowing onto the road.

This is definitely not normal, as nothing like this has ever happened before. I am very worried, help me please.

My irrigation system worked well for the last ten years, I don't think that's the reason.
