I purchased my smart controller this past fall 2023. Things had already cooled off so I set the controller to be in Stand-by mode. I don't have any experience with actual watering at this point, but did receive a few "Freeze skip" phone notifications. This seemed odd/unnecessary since the Stand-by mode should override everything and prevent the watering anyway (right?).
Today I just received a phone notification that my Smart schedule had started. This is during a rain storm and during a period that I had set as being Stand-by (Oct 5 - Feb 15; repeat every year). I looked in the back yard and sure enough, the sprinklers were on. I went to the sprinkler zone in the mobile app and stopped it manually. Once I stopped the running zone (#1), none of the others came on and the mobile app screen showed "Standby On" in the upper left corner.
Any ideas on what I may have set incorrectly for this to happen?
