Hey, your controller is making a really loud noise. You can hear it all through the garage. Is this a hardware issue? Should I ask for a replacement?
RayC2 No worries — the sound you hear during operation is not a malfunction. We’re aware of this, and as long as it’s not unusually loud, you don’t need to be concerned. It won’t affect your normal use.
Imolaza It’s not that loud, but since I have two devices and the other one doesn’t make this sound, I just wanted to check with you.
RayC2 You can turn off the device’s light, and the sound will disappear. I tried it myself, and it works really well.
squanchyboi I don’t really like turning off the lights on the device — I at least want to know when it’s watering. Is there any other way?
RayC2 Nah, turning off the lights only stops them from blinking when the device is idle. Whenever it’s watering or there’s any change in status, the lights will still flash.
