Hey, the previous owners didn't really bother with this controller, and it's not Wi-Fi enabled. I'm thinking of swapping it out with ImoLaza. Any thoughts or advice on that?

bigtiger1010%%% Good eye, I suppose so, this place has been idled for over a year. Apparently, the yard has really gone to seed. I've got a big project ahead.

Wiring seems pretty straightforward from this photo; it's clear that a wireless rain sensor is connected. Connect the blue wire from the rain sensor to the S1 terminal on the ImoLaza controller, and the white wire to one of the COM terminals. Additionally, though it's not visible in the picture, those two yellow wires likely connect to the 24V terminals on the original controller—similarly, connect them to the two 24VAC terminals on the ImoLaza. The remaining 7 wires on the right should be connected to the ImoLaza in the same order as they were on the old controller.

Wiring is the easy part. If this house has been vacant for that long, you should check the entire irrigation system to ensure everything's running smoothly—valves, solenoids, the works. Look into issues like broken pipes too.
